I received the following information from John Firestone who obtained it from Jim Conforti. The parts numbers for the special 2.5 mm (~.098inch) round contacts BMW uses in many of their electrical connectors are:

 Wire Size (mm^2)      Male Contact                  Female Contact
   0.5 - 1.0             61 13 1 376 191- $0.40ea      61 13 1 376 202-$1.17ea
   1.0 - 2.5             61 13 1 376 193- $1.17ea      61 13 1 376 204-$0.65ea

Before you forget, add these #'s to your Standard Parts and Small Accessories book part # 01 31 9 789 991 if you happened to purchase one. I used some of the smaller male pins to make up a service light reset tool. I used a number of the smaller female contacts when adding the following to my '96 328is and '97 318tis:

     Rear fog light
     Brake light kill switch
     Engine compartment light
