Subject: Re: <E36> M3 LTW wheels

Somebody asked:

<<i am under the impression that BMW manufactures a non-forged version of the LTW wheels. How can I tell if the wheels are forged or not or am I mistaken about a non-forged wheel in existence. Thanks>>

Nope, that particular style was available only as polished and non-polished, but they are both forged. Don't even think about buying a set, even used they go for ~$1700 (yikes). You can buy a 3-piece wheel that is 25% lighter for the same, or less, money as a new set. Heck, it's a $1400 option just to have BMW swap them for the 10 spoke wheels. Geesh.
