Subject: <E36> '96/'97 M3 Tire Rotation

Ladies and Gentlemen:
I will say this again. If you have omnidirectional tires like the Michelin Pilot SX MXX3's you CAN, I say again--you CAN rotate tires even with the different size tire combination of the 96/97 M3. These tires should be rotated side-to-side. Check out the Tire Rack website, this will confirm it. Plus at O'fest '97, I confirmed this with the Michelin Reps. I have been rotating my tires on my '97 M3 since day one, every 2000-3000 miles and have over 15,600 miles with 4/32's left on the rears and 6/32's on the fronts. This recommendation is also in the owner's manual.
