I'll chime in. My 1995 525i/premium pkg/AT/ASC+T -purchased new

Glove Box door fits poorly ("They are all like that") Windows stick closed (3 visits)
Odo light burned out at 43,000 mi
Trans indicator bulb burned out at 43,001 mi - big surprise (another visit)
Auto trans shifts like shit ("That's normal." Got better after fix below).
Auto trans in and out of lockup (finally fixed at 45K mi. 3 visits) Vibration in rear (yet to be fixed - feels like driveshaft support??) Interference in radio while dashboard display shows station ("Can't fix") Trunk and door seals wearing/worn out (to be fixed) SRS light stays on (bad seat switch)
I'm sure I forgotlots more (kind of like forgetting childbirth pain). This car scares the hell out of me. Warranty is almost over at 48,500 mi now.
God help me, I still love these cars.
I owned a 325e for 9 years with virtually no problems. Can we get Toyota/Lexus to build BMWs?
