Hi
No it doesn't do a very good job of penetrating. For normal music
it's fine, but if I want to jam out to metallica, I flip a seat down.
What I plan on doing is to either remove the rear speakers, or add
another pair of holes that size right next to existing speakers,
and getting a pair of speaker covers from the junk yard or dealer that
match the factory. With that setup it will look like the rear
speakers are just twice as wide as they are now.
