Subject: '96 ti BMW CD Bracket with SONY CDX-705 Changer The '96 BMW CD Changer bracket part # 65 12 8 360 671 $29.25 retail, easily accommodated my SONY CDX-705 10 CD rear changer in my '97 ti. You will also need the four mounting bolts part # 07 11 9 915 013 $0.15 each retail. The '97 bracket has a right hand flap which gets in the way. The bracket was changed for '97 to accommodate the I-bus Changer. Although not necessary, I cemented 3/4 inch rubber tape to the changer / bracket horizontal contact points. I drilled three holes for the signal / control leads and three mounting holes in the brackets left side flap. Thats it. The above is connected to a SONY CDX-C660 CD head unit.
