Haven't tried the Redline D4 ATF yet, but last week I replace the Redline MTL in the gearbox of my 95 M3 with Mobil 1 ATF. I ran it on the track at GIR last weekend and have been driving it on the street for a week in cold weather (20s and 30s - and no, I don't want to hear from Satch or you Minnesotans about how that isn't cold). It shifts just as smooth as the MTL and there's no gearbox whine. I'm gonna leave it in all winter.
