Lots. Early '92 (prod. 2/91-8/91) are the "Hubbles". ("Ship it out, we'll
fix it later"). The "is" is not in this group, being a later intro. All
'93s got improved dashboard, seat back and door panel material, power
seats, CFC-free A/C (late '92 intro) and the M50-Tu engine with variable
valve timing. (Most important if you're looking for an automatic, very nice
with a stick.) 4drs got body color bumpers. Sport Pkg. introduced with
Lincoln Continental wheels. '94 brought traction control availability,
passenger airbag, convenience closing of windows from door lock, 250 watt
(hah) stereo, new interior colors and "nicer" leather, and most "is" models
retained the tilt steering wheel before the recall did away with them. '95
has the sport package available with 16" wheels and later (1/95) cars had
coded driveaway protection, differential deployment of SRS (9/94) and
various trim package changes. Among others.
I've said it before, in most BMW models, 2002's excluded, the newer the
better. Buy as new as you can afford.
