Subject: E36 Bentley Manuals
Well the workshop manuals for the E36 series are finally here..........
ALMOST !!!
The following is the letter I got from Bentley when I wrote to inquire about
E36 manuals:
>David,
>Thank you for your interest in Robert Bentley, Publishers. The E36 manual
>should be available in September and it WILL include the M3's from
>1995-1997. We will notify you when it is in stock.

>From what I understand, the manuals will cover ALL E36 cars from the last
manual they produced which went up to 1992. So anyone with a 1993 up to a
1997, including the 318, 328 and M3, might want to get in on this. I
encourage all you fellow E36 owners to e-mail Bentley's and get your name put
on the list. That way you should get the manual months before it ever shows
up in the stores. PLEASE if you e-mail the nice lady, just give her your
name and addresses, both snail mail and e-mail. Please don't ask her
specific questions on how to fix this or that. Just your name and address
and that you are interested in the E36 manuals. The poor lady is probably
going to be swamped with e-mail, anyways !!! Be sure to tell her how much
you appreciate what Bentley is doing. Bentley manuals are real good, so it
will be worth waiting for.
Her e-mail address is:

With enough requests, maybe it will show BMW there is alot of owners that
want the info on their cars that they seem so hesitant to give out, unlike
Mercedes Benz.
Hope this helps,
