Subject: re: HOW TO REMOVE E36 UNDERDASH PANEL?

Once you've removed the screws, pull the panel towards the rear of the
car by about an inch (reach underneath to do this). You can then unhook
the side where it wraps around the dash by reaching behind the panel
near the door seal and pulling it towards the door by about half an inch.
Now you can continue to slide the panel rearwards. Are you sure there's
only 3 screws? I'm sure I remember more than that, like 2 or 3 along
the top, under covers, and 2 underneath, near the pedals - search
everywhere! I know that an extra screw was added after about the '94 model
year.
