From digest.v6.n897 Sat Jul 19 08:07:04 1997 For what it's worth I go through 3-4 windshields a year on my M3 (flying track debris) and use a local aftermarket installer who comes to the house and installs a new windshield for $205 plus sales tax. I have noticed no ripples or other flaws in the glass he's used, and this car is driven on the street enough (not just track use) that I would have noticed them were they there. I would not hesitate to replace my street M3 windshield with the same aftermarket stuff. See (some of) you at NHIS. Kathy |
