Subject: 328IS Chrome Exhaust TIPS

For the E36 325 you order two chrome exhaust tips part# 82-11-9-401-212 at $30.50 each retail. My dealer ordered the same for my 328is coupe. They did not fit.
The pipes are larger on the 328is and you must order part# 82-12-404-730 at $30.50 for the pair, half the 325 price. Go figure! For black order part# 82-12-404-731. The shorter of the two tips goes inboard and the longer outboard. Tap them on (all the way) with a rubber hammer and secure the screws. Looks good.
