From digest.v6.n291 Thu Feb 27 20:48:01 1997 One of my sales reps tried to get me to carry one of these spray-on car washes. I purchased a bottle and tried it on my truck. I would not recommend this (or similar) products as I believe all cars should be washed properly (in a separate process) to safely remove the dirt from the surface. The one step process turns your cleaning rag into an abrasive pad which will surely scratch the painted surface.
