Subject: Electric vent window P/N update

The following parts list for adding electric vent windows to a U.S. E36 coupe adds two pieces (**) that fit around the window drive cables:

• 51 368 1 51 845 left panel trim piece 0.61 DM
• 51 368 1 51 846 right panel trim piece 0.61 DM
• 51 36 9 402 689 Electric hinged window kit 366 DM
• 61 12 9 402 660 Supplementary wiring harness for
  central body electronics (ZKE) 85 DM
• 61 12 9 404 366 Power supply wiring harness for
  central body electronics (ZKE) 22 DM

The two trim pieces were missing in the window kit I purchased. You have to cut slots in the rear cabin side panels so that the window drive cables can reach the window latches, then tack back the fabric covering. These two plastic trim pieces fit into the slots for a cleaner and more secure finish.
