Subject: E/36 battery leakage into trunk
If you track your car and flex the body a little more than it may be
subjected to on the road, keep your eye on the battery. The rear cell on
mine cracked and leaked all the contents of that cell in the trunk. In a
very short time it ate several large holes through the trunk. The car
always started ok and the gauges were always normal. The entire tub had
to be cut out and replaced. I've since gone to an Optima gell cell
batery. "out of sight, out of mind", keep
an eye on yours!
