Subject: E36 M3 Tranny/Diff Oil Change

Hi All!

Just thought I'd pass along the following info. My 96 5-speed M3 just turned 12k miles. I changed the tranny oil to Redline D4 ATF and the diff oil to Redline 75W-90 - both on recommendations from fellow Digestors and Redline. I feel no difference with the new diff oil - fine. However, with the D4 ATF, WOW! No mor e notchiness - just smooth changes from gear to gear. The change to the Redline tranny oil is definitely worth it!
