Subject: <E36/5> Rear differential fluid change

Just came in from changing the rear differential fluid on my '97 318tis. The only difference from doing this on my '96 328is is that you can easily access the fill and drain plugs (since there is no spare tire well), especially, if you remove the spare tire. Using the 14mm hex (Alllen) head socket, referenced in my original article lets you easily do this without removing the spare tire.
