Had the same problem with my '92 525iT. After much similar
frustration/terror, I decided to start the car while holding the switch
in E mode. Voila. I don't know why the problem arose, but this took care
of it. I already posted this experience to the group, but I'm curious if
anyone has any thoughts on why this occurs. I'm also noticing a little
bit of ambivilance or hesitation (on the car's part - not mine) as I
wait for the tranny to shift, particularly into overdrive. Any similar
experiences or pieces of wisdom? |
