That's getting pretty close to the price of an M5.
Things to look out for are the steering box and play (actually, the
shaft to the steering wheel has a collapsible coupling that frequently
makes it feel like a lot of play -- little buyer's tip ;^) ).
Check for an aftermarket battery under the back seat without the proper
attached vent hose -- that'll cause some problems.
The E34s seem to have more than their fair share of interior door panel
bubbling.
There's a shift detent spring retaining plate that warps and causes
tranny oil to leak onto the tranny mounts (don't forget them when you
replace the plate). The tranny output shaft and shift shaft seals tend
to break down and leak too.
Note that if you see all those things wrong it isn't a big deal, but if
you're in replacing the seals you might as well get a new guibo into it
and the M5's is bigger, better, and fits.
