Most of the guys just use 22mm open end wrenches on this one, sometimes
doubling up wrenches to get mechanical leverage to break the nut loose. You
can also try a shot from the top with a 24" locking extension. Breaking the
ball joints loose will be the major problem...I'll be writing up the
procedure for the E36 ball joint and control arm bushing replacement later,
along with all required hardware and tools (I spent 4 hours yesterday with
fellow digest member Doug Holcomb working with him on his E36 project so the
procedure is fresh in my mind). SD
