• comments --- I bought my red 1989 325i convertible just three years ago from my sectretaries daughter-in-law. I've had several maintenance items done to my BMW such as replaced the water pump, fix the air conditioning system twice because of leaks caused by "O" rings, replaced the timing belt, replaced the brakes & brake rotors, and replaced the tires. This summer I have replaced the convertible top, replaced the wheel roundels, replaced the hood & trunk emblems, replaced the electric window switches, bought a new set of tires. I really enjoy driving my red BMW 325i convertible especially with the top down thru the Blue Ridge Mountains! I am planning to replace ignition wires, the trunk shock, and the shocks under the convertible top compartment later this summer.
