Subject: <E30> Bazookas in the trunk

Hello all,

I have a Bazooka 10" 80w amplified model (their "big gun" about 3-4 years ago) in the trunk of my '86 325es, as far up against the back wall (by the back seat) as I can get it. It's not near as powerful-sounding in the BMW as it was installed in the '86 Toyota Camry I used to have, but I attribute this to the fact that the BMW trunk is much better sealed off. At close to maximum output, it puts enough bass out to augment a stock stereo quite nicely, although it by no means shakes and rattles like a teenage neighborhood cruiser. It just puts a little thump/oomph into the music. I like it okay, but I was more impressed with the installation in the Camry.
If all you're looking for is some low end, they're a great space-saving installation.
