Subject: Power Antenna

Hi,

I own a 88, 325is. I installed a CD changer (Alpine) and its output is an fm/antenna by-pass. I did not want my antenna going up and down for nothing.
I installed an bmw accessories button (I found one at a wrecker). This button switches the antenna power off or on. On for normal operation. Off for tapes or cds. I think this has greatly extended my antenna life. I hope this useful.
