I spoke with several companies and individuals (Electrodyne, AutoThority, Will Turner) all of whom said that the best thing to do was to build the engine since the engine electronics are very primitive and the functions which are normally controlled by a chip are not in the 323i. You might get a different answer from someone but I don't think so. Good luck. BTW, The shop foreman at Exclusive Service in Rockville Md. is Mike Thorpe.
