Subject: E30 318i 2 litre radiator fan fix
Many of you know the problem I had 250kms after picking up my car when
the 2 litre conversion was done. For those who dont, the car was
overheating because the radiator fan was stuck against the cowling and
the car would make a horrible noise over bumps.
Well, it turns out that the right engine mount had collapsed, letting
the motor 'move' down. This was also causing the noise. Fact is, new
engine mounts should be installed when a new motor goes in.
Thanks to all the people who replied to my question.
