Subject: E30 Brake Upgrade
Just got word from Movit of Germany (the supplier for the Porsche 993 twin
turbo brake kits) that they now have a kit for the 325i E30 cars (the E30
M3 kit already exists). Rotors are the 12.7" stock Porsche units...wheels
will have to be at least 16". Kit price is $2500. SD

Subject: RE: E30 brake upgrade
Hello BMW Experts! Dave Nickols asked about a brake upgrade for the
E30. I got the following info about a month ago:
- Rotors: 11" rotors from a scirocco (VW)
- Calipers: from some Sabb
- An adapter is needed to space the caliper correctly
- The guy I got the info from said a bigger master cylinder was not
necissary, but that
some people might want one for less pedal travel, since the new brakes use
more fluid.
I spoke with Ernie Bellow (sp?) who is in Florida. He sells this stuff as a
kit.
His phone # is 561-686-1941.
I have a feeling Michel P. has some knowledge on this subject!
