Regarding your fuse, the result of the blown fuse is normal - don't worry
about that - the Idle Control Unit loses power and it is as if you
disconnected the connector from the Idle Control Valve.
Is the car a 5-speed? When I suffered from this problem, it was caused by
a shorting to ground of one of the wires going to the reverse light switch
on the manual transmission. Once I tightened up the connections, I
haven't seen the problem recur (2 yrs).
Otherwise, you could have a short in your windows. Pop the electric
windows breaker and see if this solves the problem.
If you provide a few more clues, I might be able to zero in on the problem
a bit better. Let me know if you need more help!
