Jim, until I retired, was my coworker at the P&W motor mill. A self taught high school drop out who happens to be a genius. I ran all of my ideas by him. Together we came up with many neat things. Some of the ideas were BMW related.

He was the first person I know of to remove the outer shell from a BMW shift lever without destroying the inner part. I just placed a lever on his desk and sort of mentioned to him what I wanted to do, and let him do his thing. We developed the removal technique from that. He was my back up (another information input). Like me, he is curious, but more so. We both enjoy figuring things out. He has high standards too. The standards came from the way the P&W motor mill used to be.

Thanks Jim,
