There's a good chance the window's bottom frame (the part that attaches to
the track) has come unglued. The bottom frame can even fall off completely
within the door (clunk on closing?) but the window is still raised by the two
posts that the frame formerly attached to. THis can be dangerous as the window
is "falling" down instead of being drawn down by the frame.
If the frame has come unglued from the glass, there is special window
adhesive... about $12 gets you a little tub of the stuff that needs to be
mixed and used with 15 minutes. OR you can use simple Blue RTV (Room
Temperature Vulcanizing) cement, about $2/tube.
