Subject: Re:$2,000.00 A\C repair

I saw mention on a professional newsgroup of an A|C stopleak product. The tech posting mentioned that a customer brought in a car with an evaporator leak, declined the usual repair, and insisted that the stop-leak product be used. The car mentioned was a BMW 6 series. Much to the amazement of the tech, the repair worked, and the customer is still using the A\C two years later. While I'm uneasy with this method myself, it might be appropriate for an aged car with a similar problem.
