From digest.v7.n1029 Tue Jan 27 22:49:54 1998 The Remus, while not as light as a Borla, B&B, etc......Is built like a tank. The quality is excellent and it fits perfectly. The large rounded square tips look great on the E39. The sound is not much louder than stock (which is silent) with the windows up and gives a nice growl (also not loud) with the windows down. It really sounds the best to folks standing there as you pass them. As far as power increases, I can't say yet but compared to the design of the stock unit there must be some advantage. I got mine from Steve D. (Ultimate Garage) who had the best price and fastest delivery. BTW, I have NEW '97 540i/6 sport OEM factory takeoff 17" two piece wheels and tires for sale.
