From digest.v6.n693 Sun May 25 07:19:35 1997 My 92 318is did not have a sticker and I did have problems using the older 3 watt cellular bag phones. I noticed that when I placed a call or was recieving one, the car started missing as if you pulled a spark plug cable loose! I now have a NOKIA cell phone ( .6 watts) and have no problems. I did not want to believe my cellular provider when they told me BMW's do have problems and that my engine could go completely dead on the road (they wanted to install an external antenna). I installed my own external antenna, and that did solve the engine mis-fire. |
