Subject: Axle Boot Kits
When replacing the boots on your rear halfshafts, you can buy a nice kit
which has the boot, clamps, plate & grease to do the job effectively. Lobro
manufactures the halfshafts for BMW and the Lobro boot kits are the ones
that you should use. Many of my parts suppliers have been sending Febi or
CRP packaged kits which are inexpensive but very poor in terms of quality &
contents. If your parts house does not have the Lobro brand kits, I'd
recommend spending the extra money and picking up the original kit through
the dealer. SD
