Subject: Autoloc woes: any good lawyers out there?

Hello Fellow Digesters,
Last year I ordered an alarm from Autoloc for my '92 525i. I received the alarm in January of this year. The alarm did not operate as advertised. I sent the alarm back, but I must have burst a brain aneurism because I neglected to insure or register the package (major faux-pas on my part, admittedly). Autoloc claims to this day to have never received the alarm. I filled out the necessary paperwork with the US Postal Service. A while later the USPS informs me that the package is not in any of their dead-letter departments and that the package must have been delivered to Autoloc. My question is, where do I stand now? Am I just out $240.00? Can BMWCCA or the BAR help me? Any good advice in this matter will be GREATLY appreciated!!!! Please help! Sincerely,

Chuck MacWilliam
