Subject: REMINDER: Chip Orientation

Hi Folks,

Just spent some time diagnosing a situation with one of my chips and I wanted to remind everyone to DOUBLE CHECK the orientation of the dimple at the end of their stock chip (note it BEFORE removal) with the dimple at the end of my chip...

On the ceramic chips, there is an identical dimple.. on the Araldite (black epoxy plastic) ones, the dimple is only half way thru the chip and looks like a half circle on the top of one end of the chip..

Remember:

Dimple meets dimple ;)

Oh, and note that the socket dimple or notch is NOT ALWAYS correct so remember how the working chip was installed!
