If you have the OBC with the little inset round button down on the bottom right of the pad, then changing from German to English (or vice versa) goes as follows:
Use a pin or pen to push in the round button. Holding the button down, press the UHR-DAT Button (top left hand) you will see the display change each time you hit the button.
