That's definitely my favorite from last season. Here's a knock out Carrie took in 2003:

I like this one...
But I know Dale likes this one better...
I must confess to a soft spot for the more pastoral shots.

Most of them were from Pacific Raceways in Kent; the last three were at Portland International Raceway. |

Check out www.pacificraceways.com
They got some good in-car vids that will give you an idea of what we're up against.
Great track, lots of elevation change with some very tricky bits that take a lot of skill and practice to go through fast, particularly the 5-6 complex. |

Dear God - not much run-off room on that track! |

That track looks fun! What a beautifull setting as well. I hope to be able to do a track day there some time. |

Nope, there's a couple of places that will get you if you get it wrong. Particularly 5-6 and Turn 9 (which also happens to be the rough section). Between that and the need for some paving, that's probably why it doesn't get National attention. Just too dangerous. Of course, tough/technical/dangerous = fun until you get it wrong and bend your car. Portland seems really tame in comparison.
The owner of Pacific is doing some work on T9 this year, so hopefully that section gets improved.
