The brake lights on my 91E30 Cab stopped working. I checked the fuse and bulbs all ok. Could it be the brake switch on the peddle? how do I check it? any other idea's? Any assitance greatly appreciated, I thank you in advance for your help.

If you don't already have a copy of the "Bently" manual. Get one ASAP. It has a great trouble shooting section.
Corrosion in the lamp sockets will also cause a problem. Also, make sure the bulbs are silver and not brass bases.

Probably the switch at the pedal. Not too expensive and easy to replace.

Thanks Guys,
I was able to trace it down to the brake switch as discussed. Simple and inexpensive fix. Even I was able to do it!! |
