what kind of lubricant should I use on the seatbelt retractor?
and what kind of cleaner on the belt itself?

If some grease, etc, on belt, maybe some simple green or the like, then rinse well. Might could wrap/tie extended belt to steering wheel, then let dry overnight?
I cleaned the receiver (the lap latch) with a toothbrush, then used a smidge of wd40. Wrapped it in a towel so it wouldn't splash onto interior.
