|
|
Hey Guys,
I'm having trouble trying to get the front control arms on a 2001 740il to come out. The wall joint shafts are just seized in the main wheel hub. I've tried using a few ball joint tools, a pickle fork, hammers (that would fit), and I've also tried to use the nut against the shock.
Any thoughts?

I've drenched it in PB and still no luck. I was debating about trying a torch

Consider this setup. I bought the fabricated arm and the HFT tool. Haven't used it yet, but it looks formidable, and a better fit than two other ball joint tools that I have.
