My front fan is not working....Checked fuse #3 and its good...is there a relay I can check..... |

There's 2 diiferent fuses for the aux fan. one 15 amp and one 30 amp. Check both first.
There is also a resistor for the auxiliary fan. 2 different types depending on which model and year you have. Here's plenty of info on it...

My experience has been a faulty temp sensing switch or dirty connections on the switch. It is the temp switch that is screwed into the radiator. 3 wires, one is power the other two are high and low speeds. You can test the motor/resistor by jumping the wires. Also check the ground lead from the fan. If it turns out to be the switch, its high on the radiator, easy to change without loosing alot of coolant. |
