Car theft seems to be quite common in the eastern block countries. I don't know whether it is getting worse than before or not. One of my Russian friends bought an used BMW several years ago from a reputable dealer in Moscow and paid cash for it. They discovered that it was a stolen car when he went for the registration. Fortunately, the dealer refunded all his cash. At the time, stealing upscale cars in western Europe for sale in eastern block countries was rampant. _________________ Don |

Yes quite right its a major problem here, though I would be OK with an older car but not so................. _________________ E36 325Turbo Diesel

Bummer.
But anything that is man made can be fixed.
Have you got it fixed, (I know it's an old post) or was it too smashed?
As an old bodyman, just curious. _________________
