Does anyone know where to get those, I have heard people say they will erase all extra shift slop. _________________ 1987 325i Convertible

Actually they're made from Delrin. I have 'em in my car and they do remove a lot of play from the shifter bracket, but there is a tradeoff in that they can cause the aluminum shifter mount to rattle at times. The solution is to glue the Delrin bushings into the aluminum shifter mount with silicone gasket maker (like Permatex blue). Let it set completely before you reinstall the shifter mount. This eliminates all possibility of rattling due to vibration, and the silicone will stand up to heat, oil, etc. _________________ Cirrusblau '88 325iC 5-speed

good stuff there...
theses are the things that make this b.b. shine...
unfound in any manual,
i redid mine, and even got the tranny part, but still have a little play.
i only did mine to go into the short shifter..and the play is not so bad, its not super tight but way better than most other e30s ive driven. _________________ .......... |
