my 1998 528i recently devoleped a problem where the transmission warning light comes on and the transmission goes into the limp mode. I brought it to a BMW dealer, they told me i needed to replace the transmission selector switch (part #24301423331) at a price of $429, im looking for a cheaper way out new or used any option available, i recently put tons of money into the car, any ideas if this will fix it.
please reply either below or to lentsch@wisper-wireless.com |

According to realoem.com, that is not a valid part number. Get a second opinion from an indie.
If you don't have an indie, check here: http://www.checkbook.org/ _________________
