I am having some suspension work done on my 1997 540i and wanted to get an opinion from anyone who has installed the following:

Lemford - Front Upper and Lower control arms
Meyle - Tie Rods
Meyle - Rear Control Arms

The BMW mechanic has indicated that he has installed these before (including his vehicle) and the quality is equal to BMW.

Any opinion is appreciated or other suggestions.

I installed a Meyle center tie rod about 15 k ago, and it already shows signs of wear at the pitman arm joint. Try to get a TRW part; it was the OEM piece, and lasted 60k+.
