Hi
I think that it would be kinda cool to make a feature of the hidden rear head protection rollover bars in my 328i Convertible.
What I mean is permanently release them and polish them up to look real pretty.
Any ideas/thoughts?

I don't have that feature on my car, but if they were popped up, would the top have enough clearance to go up? _________________ joe

I've never seen them up, and hope mine never need to go up. _________________ Pete

And no, there is not enough clearance. If they activate with the roof up, say goodbye to your rear window.... if you walk out alive. _________________ Pete

in my e30, the windshield frame alone is a rollover bar.
i would love a full cage, but for the passengers..its just out of the question.
try it..
maybe pull some out of a wrecked e36 and bend them, or fabricate your own..
love the cabrio.s.. _________________ .......... |
