my dome light on my 1988 635csi stays on when i close the door... but when i turn the key on (door closed) it turns off, but when the key is off, the dome light stays on. has any of you guys ever experienced anything like this?

I suspect it should fade off soon after you enter the car. Mine does. May be a problem with the Light Kontrol Module.
