Hi,
Does anyone know shoul M21 engine "eat" engine oil (sorry for my bad english). My e30 324d uses 1l - 1.5l of oil on 7.000 km. Is that OK? Should I be worried?
Car works perfectly. It starts very well. It moves very nice.
I noticed that I go uphill at high rpms, I got a sorta of white smoke form the exhaust pipe...
Is that OK?
Please help. |

1 litre in 7000km? What's your oil change interval? I think it's ok. _________________

I change my oil 5000 - 7000km. Depends of type oil I use.
Baisicly... If manufacturer says that I shild change my oil at 10 000 kms, I change it at 7000.
I am little bit conserned about that oil consumption and about that whitley smoke. |

I just checked it better, it is not white smoke, it is black. Which is good, since M21 is diesel engine.
Still... 1l - 1,5l on 7 000 kms. Should I be worried? |
