This web site is being invaded by drug ads and porn links? Any of our forum monitors noticing it? Is it the monitors' responsisbility to ban them? Or, do we have a policy against ads and porn? _________________ Don |

Don,
Drug ads? I guess I missed them.
Porn? Are you referring to the topless BMW car wash link I provided? If you are, and you don't like that sort of thing, then don't click on it. Simple.
Every now and then I run across something that I think others will find interesting and post it. In the 'Lounge'. If I remember right, the Lounge was for anything other than BMW.
But if it offends you to see the links I post, maybe I should stop altogether. There are other boards...
On the other hand, I you're not referring to me - nevermind.
Just my 2 cents... _________________ Some say time is the fire in which we burn.

I've also seen what Don is referring to...sites exclusively for drugs and porn. These are not the topless car wash kind of benign and fun item jj refers to. These show up as I'm able to discern...on an infrequent and irregular basis...and then disappear in a day or so. I just figure it's the internet and they come and they go and there's not much to be said or done about it except to be vigilent and delete the stuff or, if it's possible, to bloc it. I mostly ignore it. While I do pay close attention to the car wash posts. They're fun. |

Thank you, Henry. I thought a little fun wouldn't hurt. At least I wasn't spamming...

Hey All,
For some reason over the last year we have had many many many people sign up to post ads for porn, or "get yer drugs cheap" or ... the list goes on.
I'm certain their posting is automated and we get a new one everyday, usually in one of the less read forums. Sometimes it will take a while for one of the moderators to notice and move or delete the posting and deactivate the account.
When someone notices one, feel free to post a link to it here and it will likely get deleted faster.
thx
