I have a '94 740il that will not go in reverse. If you put in reverse it hesitates and sometimes you have to rev the engine to get it to "pop" in to reverse. This does not happen every time but is getting more frequent. Forward gears work fine. I took it to a Trans shop and they checked the fluid and did add some but that did not fix problem. Has anyone else had this problem. Car has 103000 miles and runs fine. Hopefully don't need new tranny.
